Every time you open up a sports page in New York these days, you're likely to find one of two headlines about the New York Mets:
"There's an Angel in the outfield" and something along the lines of "For Mets 3B, everything is all Wright"
Both are cool, catchy headlines, but the only problem is that they are used so much that they come off as corny at this point.
When Yankee Stadium was being torn down, every other paragraph in the entire NY Daily News or Post papers used the cliche "The House that Ruth Built." That got old and ridiculous, too, and now so is the "Angel in the Outfield."
I'm sure no one gives a darn what VFC is tired of reading either, but for me- that's all Wright.
